MOLLY CHARLOTTE WEASLEY II (22)
~former gryffindor~
top of her class, she inherited her father's smarts and stubbornness, and the weasley gryffindor spirit. she's easygoing and friendly enough for nearly anyone to get along with. but careful of her sharp tongue, for she'll call you out when you're wrong without missing a beat.

LORCAN NEWT SCAMANDER (22)
~former ravenclaw~
he's known to be kind of introverted, and the annoying smart kid that answered all of the professor's questions. he didn't mind. taking more after his father than his mother, he's sensible and down-to-earth. the thing he is really passionate about though, is dragons. he handles correspondence between the magizoology departments in the ministry. but he hopes to become a dragon trainer and work on a dragon reserve,

MITCHELL CHARLES WASSALL (23)
~former ravenclaw and head boy~
mitch gives off that air of arrogance, one might even wonder why he wasn't put in gryffindor for it. but he's a pretty fun guy to be around, many would agree. but over the years he's dialed it down and leaves the most of the arrogance to james. at heart he's a true ravenclaw, ready to prove he's right every single time, being muggleborn's never gonna stop him from anything. he's an auror in training.

ALICE AUGUSTA LONGBOTTOM II (21)
~former hufflepuff~
bright, warm, sweet, caring, and all around kind-hearted, alice is the epitome of hufflepuff. she embodies the colour yellow. she's a little naive, but it's just a part of her charm. if you knock on her door, she won't hesitate to let you in. extremely protective of and loyal to those she cares about; she wouldn't think twice about defending them using her words or her wand.

01. you are the child of...?
Do I really have to do this? I just don't feel comfortable talking about this sometimes and I just have a lot of mixed feelings--bloody hell, fine, my father is Xavier Anglicston. He fills one of the seats in parliament. He's also a huge arse.

02. now has your parent more recently entered the public's eye or have they been apart of your country's politics for some time now?
My family is a long line of government officials and that kind of stuff. It's family tradition I suppose. My father has always been in politics... and I hate him for it. No, actually I hate the way he views politics and... being his son is no walk in the park, I can tell you that.

03. do you plan on following in their footsteps?
I do, in a way. My father's a huge advocate for all the wrong things. I'd like to "become the stain in the Anglicston name" in his words. There are many "radical" and "liberal" things that need to be added into this country and really every other one. I support the freedom of speech and I believe that the government is hiding too many things from its people. If we are a commonwealth, why are so many people ignorant of the things our government does. I, for one, am not blind.

04. what other interests do you have?
Journalism and I'll admit I like playing the piano. TV shows I'm partial to are Sherlock and Doctor Who.

05. what do you think of when you hear the organization liberare populum?
This is hard. I almost support them. But that would mean the destruction of my family and I wouldn't it? Despite everything, I love my family, even my dad. He'll be the politician I hate, but at home, he's still my dad--not that I'm home a whole lot anyways. I have a lot of thoughts I sometimes can't voice aloud and they make up a lot of those thoughts. I want reforms, I do. For the most part we have gotten a lot of them over the years, but nothing's perfect. When it comes down to it Liberare Populum probably won't achieve their goal, especially with their ideas of how to execute their plans.

01. where are you from?
Hi, and well, there's no easy way to say this; I'm not really from anywhere. My family wasn't really known for settling down in one place. Probably because when you're wanted everywhere… My accent tells me United States, though, perhaps that just tells where my family is from.

02. what makes you think you can protect the world's future leaders?
I was trained to destroy them, so protecting should be a slice of pie. I mean, being trained in every way to kill someone and learning how to participate in covert ops, I know a few tricks that assassins might play. I'm pretty handy with a gun, knife, and/or a bow and arrow, which is a little pretentious, at least it is to me. my aim is spot on though. My eyes know where to look and my body instinctively understands. And just recently I've learned how to protect.

03. what is one way you can think of taking down liberare populum?
What I've learned is that you attack from the inside. Without a beating heart, a body doesn't function.

04. how did you end up in the protectors program?
My family is composed of trained assassins, myself included. I've been taught how to take a life without flinching since I was 7. Now, sometimes being a hit man isn't raking in enough money for my family, so what happens is intricately planned heists. One day, my dear family just sort of left me behind, oops. Somebody thought I'd make a good protector, so here I am, training to become one. No one's missing me here.

05. please share your feelings on liberare populum.
Must I really?... okay. Liberare Populum is insane. I don't know if they realise this, but half the people are not looking out for the good of their country. I know there are horrible people out there because my family is some of them. They are friends with the others! I just really don't like conflict, which is weird for me, right? After all I could think of 10 ways to kill anyone off the top of my head. I just want Liberare Populum gone, maybe then they'll at least let me pretend to be normal.

hugo is a sort of shy inventor that loves mechanics and automatons. he's all around a good guy, but the choosing sides doesn't seem like a good idea. jackals aren't really his sort of scene and the 3 tigers just got killed he'll take his chances being neutral. he does have quite the dark sense of humour though

ICARUS IS FLYING TOO CLOSE TO THE SUN ICARUS' LIFE HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN IT'S JUST BEGUN
choir concert was tonight

had a solo

people said it went well

many of my friends had solos and they were amazing

sometimes i forget how much i really love choir and the people in it are absolutely amazing and so very talented. they are also very nice and i feel very lucky to be able to share a stage with them. i’m looking forward to next year, when i might actually get a part in the musical. at the thespian banquet on wednesday we get to find out what shows we’re doing and omg i’m so excited.

honestly i’m really thankful for this small slice of talent pie i was given, and that i am able to share such moments with brilliant people.

(and other stuff happened too and just made me happy tonight)

it’s nights like these that i absolutely love and that i am so grateful for. two years ago i hated everything and myself and i couldn’t be happier now. i’ve met so many beautiful, talented, funny, sweet, sincere, brilliant, and just beyond perfect people this year. i’ve also become ever closer to absolutely flawless people i had already known and i’ve just really thankful for this year.

like wow.

this was amazing.

i hope it only gets better next year.

i really hate misogyny
so much i can't stand it.

example of it today
a guy in my english class says, "because guys always do it better."
um no, i can name an infinite number of women so much better than you it's not even funny.
then he just looks around and asks the rest of the guys to back him up. this one guy which i thought would jump to his aid, didn't and i was really proud, especially since he was sitting right next to the idiot.

but seriously, if a girl were to say the parallel: women are always better, it would be completely challenged and every guy would stand up to say something. and i can't take it. oh my gah. i just can't.

also the same guy who has said these most hateful things keeps trying to talk to me. um no if you could get me going on this subject i would talk for hours and maybe stab you in the leg with a dull knife. just so it would hurt more. i just can't stand misogyny.

now i'm thinking about chivalry so here we go, if you read this a+ for you.

okay, so chivalry is like every girl's dream, or at least it's supposed to be. example, guys are supposed to hold the door for you and all this stuff.

which is nice, i mean i will not object to someone holding the door for me. it's a nice gesture. the guy that i like does it constantly and i don't find it extremely annoying or misogynist, most of the time.

but every once and a while i just kind of want to strangle people. like there was this one time in my spanish class when we were getting into groups and we had to move chairs right? so the guy that sits behind my moves my chair for me. okay, i'm fine with that. nice, thank you, only slightly okay though. sometimes i wonder why chivalry is a thing, can i not hold the door open for myself, can i not carry my books by myself, can i not move an fffing chair by myself? apparently not. back to my story, so he does the chair moving thing, and he gets rewarded for it. there's this thing that teachers are handing out to people who do an act of kindness.

moving my chair for me is not an act of kindness.

an act of kindness is when i help someone with homework, or something helps you up after you fall, or something does a nice thing! i just don't personally think that this guy deserves this stupid thing.

i don't even know. but please don't get me started on dress code and how women's clothes are involved in misogyny i will never stop.

probably the worse thing about misogyny is that i can't stand up for women and be a feminist without being backed up and being laughed at. even if not out loud.

also there are so many misogynist jokes i have heard, and way too many guys at my school believe that men are better than women.

and then there's that quote that all men are created equal.

i hope they weren't created using a misogynist man as a model. because then the human race will soon die out.

moral of the story don't be misogynist and i might decide that you're on my not strangling list.

misogyny is bad. don't do it.
WHEN YOU LOSE SOMETHING YOU CAN'T REPLACE WHEN YOU LOVE SOMEONE BUT IT GOES TO WASTE
@bloodyhell-briana i made a thing, what for i don't know. what do you think of it?

i couldn't do my homework and i couldn't sleep, so here we are. listening to iron man playlists is really motivating as well. anyways, the set's all nice and pink and lovely at the top in the corner, then it's supposed suddenly fade to be all dark and stuff at the opposite corner. but yeah, i kind of really like fix you by coldplay for them. we should definitely make a playlist or something.
